Who you talk to
Almostappear Floor Coating is a referral service, so we do not do the work at your home. When you reach out, you are connected with an independent local provider from our network. That provider is a separate business. They will talk with you about your floor and the work.
What the provider may ask you
Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider understand your slab before quoting.
- How big is the garage or area?
- Is the concrete new, old, cracked, or stained?
- Has it been sealed or coated before?
- Does it ever get damp, or is there a sump pump nearby?
- What look and finish do you want?
Photos can help. Answer as well as you can. It is fine to say you are not sure.
Questions to ask a provider
Good providers welcome questions. Here are some to try:
- How will you prepare the floor, and what tools will you use?
- Will you test for moisture first?
- Which coating do you suggest, and why?
- How long before I can walk or park on it?
- Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
- What do I need to do before you arrive?
Prep decides everything, so listen closely to the answer on preparation.
